Executioners armor color

So, I just got my copy of IA 10, and am working on an Executioners army. My biggest problem is color interpretation from the Forgeworld pics. The armor color appears to be shadow grey in tone to me, but I have also heard some people refer to it as a dark blue that is almost black. There is a chaplain on the first Executioners page who is in black power armor with the chapter color on his shoulder pads. It appears shadow grey to me, or possibly Regal blue in tone. Any one have any opinions on this, the more definitive the better.

Thanks,

A-

It looks like their backpacks are bronze colored as well...

GW Brazen Brass (bronze has more orange in it).

Are you sure about the metallic element? Forge World often has odd lighting on their marine armor to give it depth. The pics I'm looking at show the backpack the same color too.

Yes I'm sure, as the only other Chapters who use that shader effect in the books are metallic (Astral Claws, Fire Angels, Minotaurs etc).

I emailed Forgeworld and was told that the Executioners have silvered backpacks, with veterans having the light bronze. Veteran sergeants have the light bronze on their helmets as well. The vanguard also have the light bronze around the mouth/face area.
