Grey Knights Painting Questions

Hello All,

 

I really want my Grey Knights to look special.

 

I have been thinking about how I want them to look, and I have decided that I am looking for a couple of things:

 

1. I want the runes on their armor to look like burning metal. Something to show their psychic powers as a more powerful, lethal force

 

2. I want their armor to be darker in nature. Almost cloaked in shadow, but still bright.

 

I want the overall look to be powerful, lethal, but incorruptible

I am currently using a Tin Bitz => Boltgun Metal => Chain Mail scheme and it's alright, but if someone knows some combination that would have a better effect, I'm all ears!!

 

I have not come close to the way I want the runes to look, and do not know how to go about it.

 

If anyone has any tricks that would achieve these effects, please comment.
