robertlee
When modeling my Grey Hunters, do I have to represent the frag and Krak grenades or is it just assumed they are on the belt? Sigmund Hammerhand
You don't have to model standard equpment. They don't even need to have bolt pistols if you equip them with bolters, or if you have a bolter in one hand and a pistol in the other, they don't need to have a chainsword or axe or what have you. The only thing that needs to be modelled on is equipment they don't come with as standard (meltas, power weapons, plasma guns and so forth). Technically meltabombs need to be modelled on, but few people insist on that (not even the tournaments I've been to enforced this). The meltabombs that you can get look somewhat ludicrous at any rate. Carrying one of those is going to be a pain, and having more than one would be even worse. And they also look somewhat idiotic. I said the same thing before he even made this post, but being his younger brother he did not listen. Now I may have to mock him for not listening. And later when he finishes his army and I run over it, there will likely be more mocking. BTW, I really like your guy's codex. It reminds me a lot of the third edition BA codex, only with a lot more fun toys. You guys have a lot of really great options in your dex that really give you a heads up in terms of controling the flow of battle. It really seems like it would play a lot like how I used to play my BAs back in third edition. Its very tempting to join your camp, get some use of the viking mythology I read, but alas I cannot see leaving my first army behind. I've already tried and failed.
