Electrolytes Posted February 28, 2011 Share Posted February 28, 2011 I have a thing for terminators as I'm sure a few other people do, how well do you think a Lib as an HQ of course with 5 termies all with TH+SS do in combat? i know they would lack in the shooting but thinking about it they have a 2 up normal save then i'd add a Sang Priest for FNP so they would have another 4up after that and even if they fire at me with some heavy weapons they get a 3 invulnerable save. Could even Deep strike them or Teleport them onto the field. Although to teleport i think the Lib has to have termie armor on as well. Good idea or bad? Brother-Captain Lucius Posted February 28, 2011 Share Posted February 28, 2011 If i was to run a setup like yours i would run this: Lib w/ Rage + Lance, Termy Armour, Storm Shield Sanguinary Priest w/ Termy Armour 5 Assault Termies w/ 4 TH/SS Land Raider Crusader w/ Extra Armour, Multi-Melta With the I5 of the priest you have 10 Power Weapon attacks on the charge at I5, Str 5 and 4 of them are re-rolling wounds and they're all re-roliing hits with the Unleash Rage. Brother Nathan Posted February 28, 2011 Share Posted February 28, 2011 i would sugest fear of the dark instead of lance, makes bette use of the powers if the enemy is to far away to get into cc, coupled wit unlese reage so you can kill stuff when you do get in would be tasty. id also go for 2/3 lightening claws because we pay for our hammers and sheild... shatter Posted March 1, 2011 Share Posted March 1, 2011 Any one model in the unit for MoH, allocated at the start of the assault phase, so the libby can die before it is still used on a low I weapon. My present list is all about the termies. (although I'm looking to expand/change this up now) 3 TDA priests, reclusiarch TDA, 10 Assault termies with the Sanguinor. Rawr That's right. Rawr. Epistolary TDA & SS Urage/X Epistolary TDA & SS Sword/X TDA priest x 3 TDA chaplain 10 TDA terminators, 3:7 LC:TH I know, crazy, right? 19 wounds of eeek! Makes deathwing squads a bit meh.
