Kor Megron
Should I use CSM backpacks or SM backpacks? I guess it depends on how recently they turned, but then again CSM backpacks don't match any Imperial design (meaning they've been modified.) Khestra the Unbeheld
CSM backpacks are older designs; everyone used to have them. The more compact ones are newer Mks. Brother Nihm
What Khestra said, You could always make your own though. If you have the money for it, combining the two types would do well to represent a slightly older Renegade force. For inspirational purposes, I am ever a fan of John Schaffer's Red Corsairs and the converted packs he did. Here's my RC test model based on Schaffer's, his backpack pattern is really unique and it looks so damn cool imho. link Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/223690-renegade-chapters/#findComment-2674841 Share on other sites
Alys
I use a mix of regular and chaos backpacks. I was tempted to try and convert some, but my converting skills are pretty poor, and I don't want to waste what precious resources I have :) I am 'damaging' the SM backpacks though to represent they have been scavenged.
