KAINE-77
Heya, Well, I used to use oil and acrylic paints when I was at Art College, and you can paint over them in any combination... Oil's are more 'maintenance' and hard work... That's my opinion, but got beautiful effects on canvas... But, Oil paints take a lot longer to dry and need White Spirit and aclohol/flammable cleaning products, where Acrylic paints are water based and non-poisonous! But my experience comes from traditional 'Artist's' oils... Would be interested to see the blending videos, do you have a link? Really intrigued by this! KAINE-77
Just checked out the tutorial you mentioned... So, seems there are now water based Oil paints about, hehe, showing my age I guess! :) The tutorial vid pretty much tells you what you need to know, but it seems that the time it takes the Oil Paint to dry is the advantage when blending (as acrylics will dry out way too fast), Just make sure you find the Water-based type! Gotta admit, this something I'm gonna try, so thanks for the heads up!
