Counts as servitor

Recommended Posts

Hi all,

I'm thinking of using some servitors, just for fun really.

The stock models are a bit naff though, so after some searching I found these:

http://www.hasslefreeminiatures.co.uk/pack.php?pack=194

http://www.hasslefreeminiatures.co.uk/pack.php?pack=510

Add some 40k weapons and I think they'll look quite good!

The Jotun are about 45mm tall so would be more like ogryns really!

The Druuschan Stryker looks more like it though.

Two questions really, first do you think people would mind me using the Jotun models with them being so big?

and second does anyone know any other good models to use as servitors, perhaps with some conversion,

Cheers all,

Rusty

In fluff terms some Combat Servitors are quite heavily built so I can't see there being any problems with using the Jotun mini's (with the exception of using them in tournaments, that'd be a no no). HassleFree are a pretty good home run company too so it'd be a win-win purchase I think :tu:

I agree, Hasslefree would work well here and you'd have a chance to make some unique conversions for your army as well.

An alternative would be to make something from a kitbash using WHFB and smaller scale 40k kits...the Witch Hunters codex in the last edition of 40k had a couple of pages of examples of servitors and arco-flagellants made in this way.
