Imperial Altar

Recommended Posts

I present the work that a friend and I are doing. It is an Imperial altar in ruins, the ruins are fenced as a command center of resistance for a marine army.

I leave the first images of WIP.

New actualization of Imperial altar. The floor was made with plastic tablecloth. The altar itself was integrated with the altarpiece. We made the reinforcements for the walls (buttressed).

I would like that you enjoy it!!

I love the "plastic tablecloth" floors. It reminds me of my grandfather's house (he covers all his tables with it before putting regular tablecloth over), and there it's called "bulle-gomme".

Yes, it is a vary nice Cathedral/shrine/altar.

One thing though, for the shields on the statues... I might recommend using any spare hatch tops from Space Marine vehicles. Not the ones that open, but those ones that are flat-ish. Very nice shield-shape. Although you've got a pretty good job done already.

Very nice man.

The only thing that looks a little odd to me is the pristine floor compared with the shelled-to-s**t walls; but then im guessing its WIP.

Ok, You're right, we need more destruction (on the floor)!!

Craters/Chunks of wall with broken pews sticking out may be a nice touch :)

Greetings. After a long time, I present the latest advances in the construction of the Imperial Altar.

- We have added the roofs of the towers.

- We have added craters.

- We have the second floor.

Enjoy it!!

When do you expect to have it painted by? I might add some randomly placed rubble. You can probably find bags of small rocks for model railroads at your nearest craft or hobby store.

We believe that next week we painted the different modules and soil. A week later, still assembled and painted the barricades.

Then we would only add the little details (helmets, ammunition, boxes ...)

Problem solved!

Here you have the pictures of the last round of work:

-Asphalt Roofing (sandpaper)

-sandbags

-Tile roof (started)

Hope you like it and have been especially sandbags!
