Coming along nicely

I just started building a 2000 pt list this week. So far I have 3 grey hunter packs primed and ready to be painted, by Sunday I will have 4 Grey Hunter Packs, 1 Wolf Guard and a Rune Priest done and ready for the table. By next Sunday I will have the completed list painted and on the table. I love all the freedom you have in the modeling of the Grey Hunter Packs.

I think you should paint with the arms/back/head off, that said, do I do it? Nope. I should to avoid having to paint in really tight spots, but I always get caught up in putting them together that I realize too late what I've done

Yeah I hear ya. I'm just finishing putting together my first 5 models now (4 GH and 1 RP). I put the arms on but left the bolters off. Even still I don't think I'm going to get a lot of the detail that is on the torsos of the models. Then again, I can paint all that detail and it's still going to be mostly covered when I glue the arms and bolter on anyway.

Its a 3 seasons room with basically one wall and the rest are filled with windows, so yeah we can spray indoors as ventilation is not an issue. I highly reccomend painting with arms off, its is much easier. That said if you magnatize your guys the arms come right off anyways so there is no worries about getting glue on anything. Plus in a very real sense less is more with the glue, just a dab will hold just about anything together and it will dry MUCH faster. The first dreadnaught I ever did was an original metal Furiouso and every [piece is held on by no more then a drop or two of glue and it has lasted a decade like that with no need for touch ups.
