Bat33.1
Looking in the current issue of WD - 375 - there are some army lists for BA using lots of the new plastic dreads. Now I'm not sure if I missed something in the codex but they have a list with 9 dc and 2 dc dreads? Is it me? Did I miss something as my codex states 1 dread per 5 dc? Does a reclusiarch HQ some how count towards the dc? The HQ is shown pictured with the dc but I'm thinking not here.
gustmic
Could it be Lemmy that you see? I don't have the WD. If so, then it would be correct as Lemmy is an upgrade character. /gustmic

Maybe GW lost the calculator  It's a pretty poor show when they don't know their own rules though...
Morticon
GW often break or bend the rules in BatReps to suit the mood of the game. It IS poor form, but to them its more about the enjoyment of the game. Remember the golden rule.

It IS poor form, but to them its more about the enjoyment of the game. Remember the golden rule. True but this is a Tactica article on using the new furisio dreadnought kits in your army build and not a BatRep. I've not fully read the article but a quick scan reveals "Of course, there is a price to be paid for these fine abilities, but nothing you'll not be happy to pay. First up, you must have at least 5 Death Company models in your army for each Death Company Dreadnought - but as a Blood Angels player, why wouldn't you want plenty of Death Company anyway?" So not very clever from GW as some players will think the list is legal.
GLD
I noticed that one as well - naughty GW lol!!! When I read the thread title, I assumed it meant the actual lists were broken - as it can be argued they aren't very competitive lists!!

MadGreek
Its "little" things like this that lead to arguments and confusion over rules interpretations. For instance - 9 Death Company + 1 DEATH COMPANY Dread = 10 DEATH COMPANY MODELS, thus allowing for a 2nd DC Dread. Same argument some make for DC Tycho and Corbulo being DC MODELS and therefore counted towards the requirements for Dreads. Now, before the rounds come down range at me, I am NOT saying it is right to count all DC models towards the limit (though I would lean that way myself) but just that the article can be taken that way. It would be better if they at least put in a disclaimer that some things you see here may not be legal in gameplay, or use the article to clarify the rules so we all know. Pigeons
....probably it's a typo. relax. someone just screwed up and wrote 9 instead of 10 and the editor didn't notice it.
