S'jet
So yeah, plastic SoB's... rumors circulate, and credible or not, i want an SoB army Now!... Recently i got a good deal for a good number sister's from a friend of a friend, about 50 sisters all together. Whilst ive been following 40k for years, ive never played a game, only painted afew GW models here and there.. and so this will be the army that hopefully introduces me fully to 40k. Pretty exciting for me =) I found some time this week to put some paint down on one of the gals and was hoping for some feedback on the scheme... http://i684.photobucket.com/albums/vv205/Sjetaj/Sisters%20of%20Battle/TestFrontprematt.jpg http://i684.photobucket.com/albums/vv205/Sjetaj/Sisters%20of%20Battle/TestBackprematt.jpg Im not sure if the red pops enough. Maybe I need another highlight, and that is before matt spray so, what dya think guys? Rhomdruil
I love the scheme...I would be more concerned with the red being too bright by adding an additional highlight, but most of my paint tends to be darker as well. S'jet
Thanks =) Oh yeah.... and grenade colour..... i couldnt pick. And for vehicles, im thinking of doing something... not so gold.... i think gold vehicles would be too much shine in the army. Maybe mostly black or red, with some gold details.... lordsloth
For the vehicles, have you considered a broken white as primary colour with red as secondary and some gold trim here and there? I think it would complement the paint scheme better than black perhaps. Ill try adding green into the mix then, maybe do the lenses green too. We'll see. Thanks. For the vehicles, have you considered a broken white as primary colour, What is "Broken" white? =) Not sure on the term. RedemptionNL
For the vehicles, have you considered a broken white as primary colour, What is "Broken" white? =) Not sure on the term. I think they're called called 'off whites' in English. It's not pure white, but more cream/beige like. I believe the ones in the GW paint range are called Bleached Bone and Dheneb Stone. WarriorFish
Really like your scheme, suits the Sisters well! Red, black, white and some gold for details would be all you need to make your vehicles match your infantry. The trouble is of course deciding which goes where :P +1 for green lenses as well :cuss Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/224061-couldnt-wait-for-plastic-sisters/#findComment-2680481 Share on other sites

S'jet
Alright, but bleached bone would be a lil too brown imo, so will go somewhere between bleached bone and vallejo offwhite. And like you say WarriorFish, deciding which goes where is the issue ill have. heh. number6
Nice work. And almost identical to the way I painted my Seraphim. The only difference is my cloth areas were entirely red while yours are majority white. Otherwise ... we could make a big Sisters army together! S'jet
Hehe, will be a while till I get an army together. And of course, ive never played a game of 40k in my life, so learning to play will take some more time, but planning on getting to 2 core sister squads plus canoness by end of March (week off work = win). Just need my bases now, ordered the Sanctuary ones from Dragonforge.
