Runepriest2007
Has anyone had experience using craft paints (FolkArt, or Apple Barrel) in airbrushes? . I have a Paasche double action, internal mix brush, and want to use craft paints for priming, and base coating. Is there a "set" formula for mixing the paint? Any help is appreciated. verpine
They go through an airbrush just fine, I haven't used them for minis though. There is no set formula but thin them to "milk", so less watery than actual water, but still flowy. 60:40 paint:water seems to work for me. I would recommend liquitex flow-aid also. Mix it 1:20 flow aid:distilled water and use that to thin your paint, not tap water. Hope that helps you a little, I've only had my airbrush about a month but it is awesome. CarbonCopy
I use Delta Ceramcoat and Liquitex products regularly in my Airbrush. Follow what verpine said, it's very similar to how I mix it up.
