obs0l3te
I can't find it any where in the BRB.... is it 2 stands one stand has a ML or both stands have a ML? On a tactical squad deteachment? and is it 2 stands for a rhino? Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/224282-space-marines/ Share on other sites
Vaaish
2 stands of marines per rhino. Most people lean toward one stand with a sgt and one with a ML, but rules wise, every marine stand has a ML. That makes for 6x ML per tactical detachment (1 per stand). You should, however, make sure that your tactical stands are different enough from devastator stands. obs0l3te
Ah. I have 2 ml per stand for my dev squads. Do you know what all comes in the upgrade pack? Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/224282-space-marines/#findComment-2682088 Share on other sites
Vaaish
2 per stand for devs is typical. Just marine characters and banner holders. A variety of terminator clad marine captains, libbys, chaplains, PA armored versions of the same and a couple of jump pack types as well as a couple of bikes. obs0l3te
So were does the sergeant bit come from? Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/224282-space-marines/#findComment-2682369 Share on other sites
Vaaish
ah, sorry. It's in the character upgrade pack or if you can snag some of the old epic 40k plastic frames off ebay. obs0l3te
ah cool. I have a bunch of old epic stuff laying around... mainly eldar... so I was going to build up these space marines I have so I could have two armies to use against each other. The marines are all in shambles though and broke I guess they are over 20 years old now =P Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/224282-space-marines/#findComment-2682944 Share on other sites
Vodunius
You can of course also just paint a regular guy (or even a heavy weapon dude if your feeling bolshy) up as a sergeant - the example commander stand in the E:A rulebook even has a regular boltgunner painted gold for the commander. obs0l3te
Yeah I saw that, but I think id rather get the figure. The more I read the E:A book the more disappointed I am. The old stuff was great not a big fan of the newer things. And I'm still reading the netepic so no judgment on it yet Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/224282-space-marines/#findComment-2683348 Share on other sites
Vaaish
Rules wise or models wise? 90% of the current range are recasts of the e40k lineup, just with fewer options included in the kits. obs0l3te
Rules wise. Just missing A LOT for epic. Model wise they are missing tons of stuff Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/224282-space-marines/#findComment-2683624 Share on other sites
