Here are a few things I was working on today, most of it is waiting on a FW order to complete. If you're after a Norse name (and wanna go with the Odin theme) you could try one of his other names: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_names_of_Odin My Raven Guard successors are also quite Norse-influenced, so it's nice to see some RG who are also derived from the same etymological/mythological 'genepool'... keep it up! :pinch: Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
crossbonesx11 Posted March 10, 2011 Author Share Posted March 10, 2011 Yeah, I started a RG successor about a year and half ago named "Storm Ravens" and they were heavily Norse themed, well since then the Stormraven has come out and kind of ruined that. However I think I might reboot the Storm Ravens and call them "Hrafskin" or Raven Kin, and move Huginn and Muninn over there. The primer is kind of thick in a few places. I have to say this step is where I always get frustrated and discouraged with my painting skills and want to quit, but I am trying to stay positive and finish them. Scout Colors: Armor - Chaos Black Webbing and Backpack - Orkhide Shade Shirt - Bestial Brown Pants - Graveyard Earth Icons - Dheneb Stone (I think?) Webbing Attachments and Accs - Adeptus Battlegrey Should I drop the Adeptus Battlegrey in favor of more Chaos Black? I am thinking I should make the pants and shirt the same color, which color (the Elysian is Commando Khaki)? Should I keep the webbing green? But I'm too busy with projects right now. Please don't put should pads on him! Where's the head from? And is the shield anything in special? It's hard to tell what bit it is from the pic.
