I was looking over the new Grey Knight stuff & noticed this. It's the GWUS site, so the link might not work for everybody...anyways, the third photo of the termies, guy on the lower right.

Not revolutionary or anything, I just thought DA players who haven't converted their own terminator apothecary yet might want to know about this.

Blurgh, struggling to post the image directly...

The address below is for an image of the appropriate sprue; as it is B&C hosted it should be 'work safe' for you Tanhausen?

EDIT - Try again; it's there on the top right... http://www.bolterandchainsword.com/index.p...i&img=63949

And again, for a bigger version... http://www.bolterandchainsword.com/index.p...i&img=63950

...and the novelty of the Deathwing Apothecary diminishes even more. Grr.

And it figures that they had to release this weeks after I finished converting one!!! :D

Same thing Here, I haven't even finished painting the highlights on mine yet...

I've just ordered the chirurgeon backpack kit to make mine. Hmm..can't justify paying 28 quid just for a few parts, nice as they may be.

These are the pertinent Terminator Apothecary bits from the Grey Knights Terminator sprues(parts 108, 109, 110, and 111):

No conversion required due to the arm being a standard TDA style arm. Too easy.

Considering the quality of the Space Hulk Blood Angels Terminators, the Space Wolves Wolf Guard Terminators, and now the Grey Knights Terminators, I am very much wanting a Deathwing Terminators kit.

We can only hope. Although we still have all the old metal models if you really want to go all out.

I'm going to pick up a box with a friend and we'll split the bits. I already called dibs on the apothecary parts, but the wait will be driving me crazy. Of course there will be pictures once I get mine built.

I've just seen the new GK termy models in GW Bath and they look stunning.

The shoulder pads are incredably detailed as is the incised script panels in the armour plate. Some of the GK bling that can be added looks a bit fragile and might not stand the tabletop for long - it depends what bits you choose.

Also there are one pair of legs that I think a bit odd as they make the model look as though he's falling forwards.

But really, the quality of the engraving and details has to be seen to be believed. The banners are awesome as are the individually detailed tilt shields.

On the Apoth arm, yes it's not GK-branded so will make an excellent DW addition, as will the Apoth's lights pack (which needs attaching to the top plate of the armour).

Jeez I'm very jealous -- but it looks like my GK will be getting some new brothers to boost their number :D.

Incidentally I saw the Dreadknight thing too. it looks an immense model (height-wise) but given the general bad press it's had it isn't that bad. It's mounted on a large oval base which looks odd in 40K - but the detailing and level of modelling options is excellent. Plus he swivels at the waist, a bit 'tricksy' maybe but cool.

Codex looks awesome too - the subject for another topic on 'how to deal with the new GK' I reckon :P.

Cheers

My friend, who has been playing GK for the past few years already, can't wait to get his Dreadknight. He claims it has a better "daemon weapon" than an actual daemon weapon, and it looks like he's right. We're going to need a "how to fight GK" thread soon.

Well considering I've just knocked out a DW army in 6 weeks and done a badly (imo) converted apoc for it - I am glad to see it - but I am doing a GK army as well, and since my paint scheme is the same for both (think Disciples of Caliban with a minty twist) and I magnetise every thing - I am glad hehe.

That reminds me, I need to put up my WIP thread up on this forum now I am nearing completion!

Oh, aren't those going to be ever popular in bits trading. If you hope to get some, you will need to monitor your favorite bitz places very carefully for the week(s) grey knights are shipped.

I actually have inquisition themed guardsmen (not storm troopers) who served as Inducted Guard back before 5th edition, so I am contemplating just buying the whole box to have the start of a Grey Knight force, then rob those parts for reconstructing my Deathwing apoth.... but then I wonder, might I be missing the apothecary bits for my Grey Knights purposes? A conundrum.
