Still WIP, although nearly done, here's my take on FW's Lugft Huron:

I typed up a big spiel just now and then my :cuss: broadband cut off before I could post it  so I'm gonna try and remember the salient points.

I decided to use elements of the artwork from the cover of Imperial Armour X for the colour scheme on the mini rather than the one that's painted up on FW's website. I'm in the process of highlighting up the shoulder insignia to look like stone. I still need to paint the reliquae, teeth and cord on his chest plate and I've made a start on his banner, although thinking about it, I might leave it off. I'm not 100% sure on the Ghost Razors (his claws) being so green, I might try to make them a bit paler. (I went with green as the fluff in IA X states that they are extra, extra nasty as well as of an unknown pattern, type and construction as well as the 'ghostly' conotations of the colour.)

I'm currently thinking of painting the helmet on his base up in Minotaurs colours (bronze with verdigris) as I think that'll contrast nicely with the pale base.

I may have missed a couple of things, but I'm now going to hit 'post new topic' before my internet dies again...

C&C welcome,

cheers

Thanks guys. I've actually really enjoyed painting Lugft and I think that shows through in the paintwork, I've also tried a couple of new painting techniques involving washes on him as well (they're not really visible in the photos though I'm afraid).

I should have him finished soon, need to get some stuff painted for Foundry first though ;)
