Son of Rawl
A question for those who have read the PDF and seen the codex in store, this rule effectivly makes the entire squad psykers right, that only need to role one leadership test to pass a test. So if I or another Dark Eldar player drop the Cruicable of Malediction bomb on said squad, does that mean the entire squad dies after failing one test? Wonder how it would work on vehicles... Gentlemanloser
No. Only one (Justicar/Keeper of the Flame or nominated/random if they are dead) counts as the 'caster'. On the same kind of note what about witch hunters equipment that wounds psykers on a 2+ will that work? or only if the majoprity of who is left is a caster? Gentlemanloser
I would say it would work the same as the animus speculum for Culexes Assassin. They would only count as one, so would be in the minority until there were 1/2 GK left in the unit. DV8
Grey Knight squads always count as "1" Psyker, with a heirarchy of who qualifies as "casting" and who suffers the consequences of perils of the warp (Justicar/Keeper of the Flame, and then a generic Grey Knight if either of those are dead). The question becomes, then, what happens when Grey Knights face Grey Knights. For example, if I hit a Grey Knight squad with a Mind-strike Missile, does every model in a squad hit by said missile automatically take a wound (per Perils of the Warp)? Or would the squad only take 1 wound? DV8 Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/224510-brotherhood-of-psykers-rule/#findComment-2685359 Share on other sites
gil galed
The PDF says: - Unit counts as 1 psyker - Any attack which specifically targets psykers is resolved against the justicar or a random model if no justicar Thus any psyker attacks will only work against the justicar or a random model. No auto hits with mind missile, and presumably culleux will only count as being near 1 psyker. ~Gil :) Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/224510-brotherhood-of-psykers-rule/#findComment-2685378 Share on other sites

So long as the blast clips the squad, it'll automatically inflict a Perils of the Warp hit (Justicar/Keeper of the Flame or random model), along with the S4 hits. It just means it doesn't beat squads. DV8 Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/224510-brotherhood-of-psykers-rule/#findComment-2685443 Share on other sites
