Hellios
Just so you guys know Gideon Lorr the once promo model can now be pre-ordered and the old witch hunter lord and cortez are now back in single blisters... the same goes for some of the models that used to be in their box sets. If this has been mentioned already I'm sorry ^_^ Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/224537-gideon-law-lorr/ Share on other sites

boreas
Cool! I almost shelled 60+$ to get that guy but didn't win the ebay auction. I've always found that limited ed. models was the stupidest idea. Heru
I was sooo happy when I won Lorr on ebay (for £8.50 + £2.99 for P&P) in 2007. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/224537-gideon-law-lorr/#findComment-2686080 Share on other sites
Iron Father Rik
He's not for pre-order, he's available now, here. I got that model when he first came out, but I was young and ruined it. I always wanted another but wasn't willing to pay the high eBay fees. So I am, partly, happy that I can get him again. However I'm not happy that a. He's suddenly available again, with no mention about his past limited status, and no mention of his name or fluff, and b. That him and the other ex-witchhunter that is also available (here) are advertised as Grey Knight Inquisitors! They are not Grey Knights! No Inquisitor is a Grey Knight! Daemon-hunting Inquisitors are Ordo Malleus, not Grey Knights, which are a separate (albeit linked) organisation! Now I'm one to normally roll with the punches and just accept fluff changes, but this one really gets on my nerves. Come on GW, waken up! Everything included in the Grey Knight release is now suddenly called a Grey Knight - including henchmen. The only exception is the "Space Marine Venerable Dreadnought" that is painted silver-grey for the Grey Knights pages. Fredegar Kadere
What is more important than the Grey Knights and the re-release of Gideon Lorr, the Witch Fynder? The humble women of the Orders Hospitaller.. Now removed from the retinue and sold as a single blister called Sisters of Battle Hospitaler. Iron Father Rik
I want the sister and the Inquistor with Power sword and Pistol, didn't he have a name a long time ago? Yes. As the title of the thread and some of the previous posts suggest, he was called Gideon Lorr. Iron Father Rik
Nah not him, this guy No, I'm fairly sure he never had a name. Him, and the two others, were just standard Inquisitors. Heru
What makes it even more confusing is the fact that he is shown in the latest White Dwarf (376 page 119) in the Available to Order section in relation to the Grey Knights and Inquisition models already available. Avarris
The reason why this model has been taken off the website as it wasn't meant to be on there in the first place as the model was meant to only ever be a limited edition model but unfortunatly someone forgot this when they were putting the models up on the website and added it. Its also on the posters that GW sent to everyone... and the elf hero that was limited edition (maybe around the same time as Gideon?) has been online for sale for ages... so it wouldn't be the first time... I don't doubt you are correct... you just think a company the size of GW would have someone who double checks things before they are sent out...
