Sun Reaver
Hey, Here is my KOB marine. The model was commissioned by the wonderful guys at AI collectibles and came out much better than I could have ever imagined. I can't wait to have an entire army of these guys. You will notice that instead of the silver, I went for a more grayish color as I thought it would look better. Enjoy my fellow Sons of Sanguinius :D http://i400.photobucket.com/albums/pp87/Captain_Kael/KOB1.jpg http://i400.photobucket.com/albums/pp87/Captain_Kael/KOB2.jpg http://i400.photobucket.com/albums/pp87/Captain_Kael/KOB3.jpg http://i400.photobucket.com/albums/pp87/Captain_Kael/KOB4.jpg Sun Reaver

I like the contrast of red and boltgun metal a tad bit better, ala "Knights in shining armour!" But that's tomato tumahtoe. It's about time our KoBs start getting more face time. ;) Kudos! ;)
The Crimson Cartel
Nicely done. I really like the blending on the helmet as well as the subtle battle damage. Keep em coming. -CC
Rob_Loken
Looks really good, I havent seen a KoB outside of the codex yet. Well done fine sir.
Tabgoi
I reall like that. Normally I like my guys nice and shiney showing the lightning precision of their assaults, ie they never even really get a chance to get their armor torn up. But with the Knights not having access to the same Imperial support I think its great that they look more worn and battle damaged. I'm the same way with Flesh Tearers, but more for their constant tempo then lack of ability to buy paint and such.

Sorry that you didn't see these when I posted them in my LPC, Brother Duncs. -_- http://i258.photobucket.com/albums/hh275/MFUCOMMISH/W40K%20-%20The%20Sanguinius%20Files/1292965980688.jpghttp://i258.photobucket.com/albums/hh275/MFUCOMMISH/W40K%20-%20The%20Sanguinius%20Files/1292965992990.jpg
Sanguinarian
@ Sun Reaver: When do you plan on having more of your army painted? Are you going to commission AIC for the whole deal or did you just use them for the one test model? Also, I didn't mean to hijack your thread with my 2 pictures. Stay tuned for an exclusive WIP thread for our Knights. Gotta get some work done.
Haunter!
Very nice. I like the deep, dark red you pulled off on the helm and the back pack. I would like to see a larger image to see a bit more of the detailing as it looks like some battle damage on the silver. It looks nice from afar, but I'd still like a closer look. Renegade or not, very classy, brother.

Stay tuned for an exclusive WIP thread for our Knights. Gotta get some work done. Well as a college student, I don't really have much time to paint my models and game with them. I really wanted to get a test mini so I could work off of it. I plan to commission the vehicles and possibly some of the troops. Everything else, I plan to paint. This pretty much includes independent characters and other models which catch my eye such as sanguinary guard. I am currently working on a model which may translate into the 5th company captain or the chapter master. I have been debating on whether or not to write any fluff on them, but it is certainly a possibility. No worries on the pics, more KOB are always better. Renegade or not, very classy, brother. Thanks man. For some reason, I really like that line. Sun Reaver
