Quite the Daemonic Horde there Brother, you make me jealous, been playing World Eaters for years and still have not bought any daemons. Great Work, got any closer pics of your tanks, that black and red scheme looks pretty awesome.

I use a undercoat of Chaos black, a base coat of Mechrit red to cover the black on the spaces that i want in red,then a highligth of Blood Red,for the golden/brazen parts i use Glorious Gold from Game Colours paints.

 

Then of course the usual boltgun metal.

Thanks Brother, the paint looks awesome...by afar, but by closer look its pretty plain, i'm not good at painting, its a real torture to me, i better love converting then painting in fact.

 

Thats why i make tabletop quality paint in a easy to do paint scheme, Black,Red,Gold/Brass.

 

The colour scheme of my WE are a bit particular, because i'm a bit lazy in painting, so i decided to paint red only the most visible parts of the minis;Head,shoulders,legs/shinguards.

 

Plus its a bit different then the classical WE paint scheme, this way on a table even if i play against/with another WE/CSM with Zerkers, my guys are differents.

 

Wich tank do you want to see in particular?, the Rhinos?, the Land Raiders?, or something else?.

Painted the roof and the weapons sponsons and turret red.

 

A good thing with the majority of the vehicle being black is that you can make easely blood trails near the tracks and some parts of the tanks.

A little, tiny update.

 

With my work for this month done, i din't have very much time to dedicate to the Horde.

 

The only things i managed to do, because i needed my little Conversion-fix...,was 3 Custom Objectifs Markers.

One will be a Monolith+Rage Banner, the center one will be a Statue dedicated to Khorne, its made out of an OOP Khorne WHB Champion and the last one is a huge Khorne icon with a sacrificed and mutilated marines chain-strapped on it!

Love the Angron model you have there. Lost apocalypse game I played with my friends, Angron and his Bloodthirsters took out a Warlord Titan over 2 turns. It was so much fun watching the sad look on the Titan owner's face.

Ok after sometime(even years!) i finally managed to get my dirty claws on a Armorcast Reaver titan!!!

 

ALL HAIL THE BLOOD GOD!

 

I won the auction on Ebay(for cheap! 390$=270 euro) and i'm anxiously waiting for my new baby to come with the mail!

 

But it will not be in like 15 days...

 

But in the meantime i did some Necro digging around my stuff and took out another venerable mini...

Truely the Talos Kit is a real enjoyment for any Chaos Follower!

 

I really recemmand it if you want to make some evil looking walkers!

 

I used the Dreadknight's legs,because i had a kit lying around, but you can as easely use the Sentinels legs!

So not much of updates for today,i'm really dead tired after a month of constant near 16hours work per day with no restdays...

Well there isn't many piece to put together, its a realitivly easy to build kit.

 

You have the arms,Head,carapace,Legs,feets.

 

The arms and head and the weapons are maintained in place with bolts,making it easy to put togheter.

 

The real catch is the legs and feets.

 

They need to be drilled and pinned to be stable.

 

So after a little discussion with my fellow Game mates, it appeared that this head din't convince at all...,to wide and square for the titan...

 

So be it!, i will find something else!

With the ribcage it add a really nice touch, the allready bony looking armes and legs,gives a strong skeleton feeling allready after all.

That is much more horrific. :( The ribcage gives it a nice sense of movement and depth.

Leaving the titan aside for now i began painting my second Land Raider,so that he'd be ready for a Double team tourney with a fellow Chaos player.

The Zerkers with Red Gore on their chest,arms,legs,are actually my first Zerkers from back in 98...,yup those are old.

Did a little refresh paint job on them to match the other Zerkers paint scheme.
