Dried paints

Recommended Posts

if they are dry, and hard to the touch, then they are done for, it is possible to get them going again, but it is cheaper and easier to just go buy some more paints. now if they arent completely dried out, and sort of still gooey, all you need to do is add a little water (add it in slowly, it is easier to add then remove) and something heavy like a small fishing sinker and shake the crap out of the pot.

What he said, 'cept be carefull what you put inside of the pots.

Anything that could rust or oxidise should not be in there, unless you remove it afterwards because it's going to taint the paint.

If the pots *are* fully dried up, dont throw them away either! (empty) pots have their uses for exampe storing mixes and many other things :)
