jakehunter52
I am determined that I am going to want to run a couple of Riflemans after hearing very positive reviews and practical applications as ranged anti armour. However, I am a bit at a loss as to how to model the said autocannons on the dreadnought. Not only does none of the plastic kits contain TLACs, but only a few have weapon options other than the DCCW for the left arm. That makes it seem a bit more difficult from a conversion standpoint and made me look up what FW has. Fortunately, they have TLACs for both arms but the one on the left seems kinda....bare. Any ideas one what can be done? Frankly, I am set on investing a lot of time and money into this army as it has been the only one I have been really passionate about in 40k (well...my Sisters have seen quite a bit of love too but who am I to deny my women) and want to make them look good. So, should I just buy or convert? Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/224724-how-to-get-the-rifles-for-the-rifleman-dreadnought/ Share on other sites
SamaNagol
You can convert them using Imperial Guard Autocannon parts. But seeing as you get a huge amount of iconography on the sprues for GK new models, you can definitely decorate the FW arms easily Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/224724-how-to-get-the-rifles-for-the-rifleman-dreadnought/#findComment-2688174 Share on other sites

Heimdal
As for the problem on how to convert two AC arms, here`s a link for you: Rifleman dread Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/224724-how-to-get-the-rifles-for-the-rifleman-dreadnought/#findComment-2688187 Share on other sites
Evilmerlin
Or get the Aegis Defence Line box. It comes with a bunch of walls and a Auto-Cannon turret that you can simply fit on to the Dreadnought body. Check em out here Note: It's not my site. I just did a quick search and those turn up. And now a wrench is thrown into my gears and I am back at square one. Those conversions look pretty good, I would have to do a combination of the Aegis and missile pod conversions I think. I really like all the mechanical bits and stuff and would love to incorporate them in to the bulkier pod. Thanks for the pics, they give me a bit more to play w/ in my head....and wallet unfortunately. If there was a way to just buy the turret and not the walls.......
