CainTheHunter
Here's dilemma. Once the wolf standard has been used up, does it continue to exist as a wargear, per se? Or can I swap the model with standard for a generic GH - this also helps to remember in which units WS has been used? Or I have to keep the model and use it for wound allocation, which also has some good potention for rules exploit... Is there an answer, and if there aren't any, what is considered to be the best practice? Sigmund Hammerhand
It's still a piece of equipment. What I tend to do is just take him out the next time I remove casualties from the squad. The wound allocation shenanigans you can pull of with this are extremely limited (off the top of my head, I can't think of any, tbh.). Spacefrisian
I believe this was somewhat answered in a faq (not 100% sure if it was their) eg: If the Hunterkiller missile has been used does stop being 1 of the weapons for a vehicle. Answer: no it is still a weaponoption taken by the vehicle. Grimtooth
Vehicle rules have zero relevance on a Wolf Standard. Barring any additional rules not in the Wolf Standard entry, it remains after used. Decoy
Yup. Still equipment, just equipment that doesn't do anything. Still suitable for wound-allocation, and is a great way to lose some AP rounds if you only have three or four men left in the squad and they take a squad's worth of shooting.
