Keyboard
First note, its no where near finished. :D This is just some of the fluff etc. So, what do you all think? Origins... Founded during the 25th Founding, the Knights of the Inferno are commonly known for their actions against the T'au and Tyrinad Splinter Fleets. The Knights of the Inferno, having being fighting xenos most of their chapters history, are also known for their righteous zeal and undying loyalty to the Emperor. In the first few decades of the chapters existence, they made their mark in Galaxy, by cleansing Marocre and nearby planets of the T'au Uprising. The first chapter master of the Knights of the Inferno, __ __, was known amongst his Brothers as a honourable warrior, and that he would sacrifice himself for the good of the chapter. It was a sad day for the Knights of the Inferno when he disappeared around M41.140, near the system of Marocre. ___ was sent to help stop a rebellion in a neighbouring Imperial world and crush the T'au resistance that they were engaging the few PDF forces there. With him, he took roughly half of the 1st company, along with 3 squads from both the Assualt and Devastors Reserve companys and 1 Venerable Dreadnaught to cleanse the planet of any and all T'au Xeno. It is said that in the chapters Archives, that the Defensor Fidei, ___ personal Battle Barge just disappeared from space when they exited the Warp stream. With him, he lost several suits of Terminator armour, along with 3 valued relics. What happened to __, his Brothers, the Defensor Fidei and those 3 relics, will never be known. Homeworld... In the 23rd year of the chapters existence, the Knights of the Inferno came across Marocre A Moon named Vulcan, after the God of Fire, orbits Marocre and serves the Knights of the Inferno as their base of operations. It is on Vulcan that the chapters stores its most prized relics. The chapters archives are stored there aswell, holding information about the chapter that only the most Inner Circle of Knights have access to. This is where all the Initiates of the chapter will one day come to, so they can finish theyre training as a scout, and become a Battle Brother. Note: Not sure which geneseed i will be using. It is between Rogal Dorn and Roboute Gulliman. Ill probally go with Gulliman, as I like the Roman names. :) Sorry for any spelling/grammar mistakes I've made. NightrawenII
hmm... this will be quick. - The 25th Founding was in M40. - 745.M41 First contact with Tyranids – Hive Fleet Behemoth. - ~600.M41 first contact with advanced T'au. Use the 26th Founding - most recent Founding in 738.M41. Btw, Vulkan is name of the Primarch of the Salamanders Chapter. soddinnutter
Vulcan? No. Just no. People will either think Spock or the most awesome Primarch who ever lived. Have it called Vulkan and say how the cartographers named it after the Emperors most awesome son. You could get away with this by having 20 moons. Each named after a Primarch. Two have been Exterminatused and their names forgotten. Having Ultramarines gene-seed will not mean that you have Roman names. You will have the names from the world that recruitment occurs from.
