It won't be extremely pretty, and you could go for a darker shade than skull white for the drybrush and the do some highlighting.

I paint at a rather low "level", so it should not be all that difficult. Perhaps not overly pretty, but sure looks better than just slapping on

some white. Also might fool your opponent into thinking you paint pretty helmets, unless he gets too close.

That looks quite good.. But now exactly what I meant xD I'm off to work now but tonight I'll upload how I imagined it :D

wasnt addressing your post angel sorry..meant to illustrate my points on cohesiveness

Ah okay... Sorry then ;)

Well if I were to paint a Blood Angel successor in red and grey it would come out like this...

sm.php?b62c=@ia3h6_hxFA7.hCDFj@huUL4@@@@_hnil7iakk7h7OPD@@hbRPYhIabihR5Dtia3Og@.i8GmV..@@@@@_@_...hE1jlhEzWz@@ia3BPhE1jlia3hnhZOsbh8hoO__hkYfXia3tx@_huUCMhtfAZiakk7@hoyLgia3BP@heCRsiakk7&

(Now that I look back at it I would do either the red darker or the grey lighter)

Your offer is very good.

But :P I don't like half-painted or quarter-painted scheme at all.

I think, I'd like to choose deneb stone variant.

And this evening I had time only to prime that terminator's shoulder, cause my friend invited me to play "Battlestar Galactica". I adore this game :D

So painted shouldeer will be only tomorrow in evening.

Eh...

Work takes much time. And too less time I have for my army.

I've decided to turn to Blood Angels. No chapters.

So, this is my first assault marine.

Assault sergeant with fist, bolt pistol and jump pack is coming.

Thanks.

Sergeant looks better. I think, I've found my own BA painting method.

I tried many times. Many miniatures had pure alcohol bath :)

First of all, nice marine. Well done!

And it's good to find your own method. I've resumed painting after nearly 5 years, and of all painting methods posted over the net, I've devised my own, and I'm very happy with the result.

P.S. What town are you from? ;)

This marine doesn't show my own method. He is a little bit darker. But he is close.

Sergeant shows. I've almost finished him. I hope, tomorrow I can show you.

And maybe after few years of painting I will find another method. Who knows?

I paint just for 10 months. I'm newbe =)

I'm from Penza.
