henrywalker
So i have astorath the grim and i've never been happy with his axe. i took him out of my case just now and the axe handle (which kept bending) had broken. so i took part of a sanguinary guard axe (the double header) and have stuck that on (with some conversions) my problem is using super glue to stick 2 tiny surfaces together. how can i make the damn thing stick properly and straight? gabrionus1
My Astorath axe broke off in the middle also, but I used a file on both sides (wife's emery boards nail file) and used control gel super glue and its stronger now than right outa the package....until I drop it that is  Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/225031-astoraths-axe-help/#findComment-2692636 Share on other sites
d503
I cut off his wussy emo bone axe and pinned on an eviscerator. Now he looks like a real badass, not a whingeing androgynous fool. Should have given him a buzz cut too, but I was too lazy to file his hair off. d503
Seems like we agree his axe is too puny to be strength 6. So maybe it falling off your model was a blessing in disguise, no? Midnightmare
As said above pins and good old superglue. I find a staple bent in on itself makes a good pin. Also, YES ASTORATH'S AXE IS PUNY!! Mine will be getting a swap, strength 6 my :P Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/225031-astoraths-axe-help/#findComment-2693191 Share on other sites
