The Imperium always wins though ;) It might take a year, or a century but the Imperium always wins.

(Now I'm trying to figure out where I got that from, I know there is something very similar in the literature...)

The talk of the artwork has me interested and the fluff should be fun. Maybe they'll even give Wolf Scouts their shotguns back (Favourite piece of Wolf artwork was the Scout with Shotgun ;) )

So, am i the only one who likes the Canis model and his mount?

I hate TWC, mostly because I cant accept the idea - but ive bought him and have him in the middle of my display shelf.Great mini IMO.

Id like to see Egils company re-intrduce the Leman Russ tank or maybe Erik MOrkais company giving scouts more options/slots in teh FoC or maybe even Gunnar showing us how he painted that moon red...:)

Personally id love to see a double act for the spec - Bran would be nice but so would Harald Deathwolf and a large lupine boost.

The Imperium always wins though :teehee: It might take a year, or a century but the Imperium always wins.

Not in IA books. See Taros, Anphelion, and Badab.

Is the Imperium not still standing? Isn't that enough of a victory for you lacking in faith in the Allfather? The loss of such worlds is of little importance in the grand scheme. So long as His warriors still stand, still fight the Imperium is winning.

(Also, Badab was technically a victory, Huron fled.)

Now all I need is some black armour, a wolf helm and a Crozius...

(Also note none of those have Space Wolves, we don't lose :D)

So that means every other race is also winning, meaning it's just a really big tie, meaning no one is winning, meaning the Imperium isn't winning. And Badab was more of a tie, as Huron lived, escaped with a sizable force, and is now a massive thorn in the side of the Imperium.

Does anyone has a date of release for this IA 11?... Because, we still have no news on the forgeworld newsletters...

Not even a SW thing... Personnally, I'm waiting for the rules and the model for Bran...

I may be tempted to build an other great company...

No clue on dates but Forge World have been mentioning stuff about Imperial Armour 11 at Games Day:

"Detailed snowboard used for Imperial Armour 11: The Doom of Mymeara." White Dwarf 379 (UK Edition), page 106.

According to A D-B's mighty chart of pie, we are the most-played army, yet we are the only 5th ed. army without a second wave, and Dark Eldar are probably getting a third wave.

What the crap do we NEED a second wave for? If there were anything at all it would be TWC. The rest (Arjac in mind here) can be converted. Easily.

I'm also looking forward to IA 11, because it's Space Wolves and Cadians together on an ice world. Both my armies benefit.

A Wolf Priest

TWC

That's it. All the more reason for it to have been released already

One of those is easy as crap to scratchbuild ( I have three of them, and I'm not even talking sculpting ) and the other is Wolf Cavalry. There's plenty of third party work around to get us by.

There's a few new models we could use besides Thunderwolf cav... I have a 17 yr old Ragnar Blackmane model that I'd like to see updated along with Ulrik the Slayer... How about a new Wolf Priest model since the only one that was a non-character was the limited edition Games Day model? A new Bjorn model that's different from the old metal dreadnought and Forge World Venerable Dread would also be nice to see.

Granted you're right that the standard Space Wolf packs are AWESOME to make pretty much whatever type of unit you want, but there is still some stuff we could use.

By the way, does anyone have anything cofirmed from Games Day or somewhere else that the Space Wolves are going to be included in IA 11?

I spoke with someone at Forge World via email in regards to them working on the Space Wolves and this was the comment that I was given:

Hi there.

We are looking at producing more Space Wolf related items and literature in the future but at present nothing has been set in stone.

That basically tells me that the Wolves won't be in IA 11... I've also heard from another source that GW will NOT let Forge World do the Thunderwolf Cav and that they already have plans for them.

Anyone else heard that same news?

Forge World already made a space wolve venerable dread...

I know. (I actually have it on order from FW  )

I was thinking of a new model specifically for Bjorn from GW and not the Venerable one from Forge World.

Combine the two and you have your converted dread. Honestly do y'all really want the convenience of just buying it when you can build it and make it your own?

A few parts and you can make your own plastic Wolf Priest. A few Dreadnought components and you can make your own Bjorn.

I get it. Some people don't like converting or modeling. I'm not saying get greenstuff and a sculpting tool and get to work. I'm saying there are already plenty of plastic parts available to build one. SW parts with a Dark Angels power mace and you have a scratchbuilt Wolf Priest.

Trick out a dread with pelts, runestones and tails and boom, you can have your own Bjorn.

Someone said similar things to me when the Guard codex came out. "Omg we have such limited range support" (despite the bazillions of tanks and infantry types available, he chose to complain about the few that didn't have models, and weren't even very popular anyway.)

I am yet to see a plastic kit bashed Wolf Priest that looks even remotely as good as Sternhammer. A new Wolf Priest is needed. It would be great if they re-did Ragnar and Ulrik, who is so out of scale he looks like a midget, and he is meant to be much bigger than the average Marine.

Must...resist...urge...to call...High Wolf Priest...High Rat Priest...Must...Resist...Noooooo!

Ulrik the Rat Priest, Slayer of Garbage Dumps and Bearer of the Holy :cuss needs a redo. Starting with that awful Rat Helm.

Well, you're right... Aside from the Thunderwolf Cav, there aren't any Space Wolf models that are really "Needed" as you say. However, there are some models that could really use an update... The old Marneus Calgar model didn't look bad, but the newer one is absolutely beautiful.

 not sure if we need ic. all of our present ics are very poor i would not buy ragnar ulric or logan they to small and static. agree with the idea of a fw or gw sprue with character upgrades. how about a sprue of heads for wolf priests, rune priests and wulfen?. imo a sprue containing the heads of all the great company wolf lords would be perfect these could be used with all our existing bits to make some great characters as they could be armed as suited each player and also put in tda. if gw make twc fine but i think that all the plastic kits are fine and you can convert what you want for marines.

sprues with wolflord, priests and wulfen heads.

shoulder pads for all the great companies.

wishlist complete :D
