Keyboard
Chapter OrganistionIt is said in the Codex Astartes that a Chapter must have 10 Companys, 5 being Battle Companies, 4 being Reserve Companies and 1 Scout Company. - Strange, my copy of Codex talks about Veteran Company as well... I thought 1st Company counted as a Battle company, but was made of veterans. Fixed anyways. The Techmarines of the chapter are also trained here- The Techmarines are trained on Mars. Will change it. HomeworldIn this system, there are only 4 worlds, 2 of which are habitable. In orbit around Garvus, the Forge World, there lies 3 moons, Hephaestus, Ares and Hades. On Hephaestus, the largest of the 3 moons, there is the Fortress Monastery of the Knights of the Inferno. - *sigh* No. Read the Guide to DIYing. A moon would be awesome to have as a fortress monastery... Oh well. - Not this fallacy again... The Forge World is home of secretive and callous Adeptus Mechanicus and base of regiments of Skitarii and Titan Legion(s). The T'au are dead meat the moment they set their hoofs on the ground. I didnt mean a forge world that makes titans, i meant a world full of Manufactorums that makes things, e.g ammo, or Guard weapons. (las etc) Would a Hiveworld better suit my meaning? - The gift of equipment is a little bit questionable. It's task of Admech to give anything you need.- The Battle Barge is incredibly powerful and rare ship in the Astartes arsenal. I don't think the Novamarines would give it to new Chapter. - The list of equipment should be in sidebar since it's not very important. Thought the Parent Chapter gave you some free stuff, will change. so it was a sad day for the Knights of the Inferno when he disappeared around M41.140, near the system of Moracre.- The date is wrong. M.42, but you are out of official time line. Thought i changed that. Now M1.740. 2 Vanguard Veteran squads were given the glorius honour of founding the Knights, thanks to their actions in the Moracre Campaign.- Why only Vanguard Vets? The Novamarines are rigid followers of Codex Astartes. Should i change to something like: Several Vanguard and Sternguard Vets were given the honour to found and train... Blah blah.? - Tau and Tyranids... Tau and Tyranids... Tau and Tyranids... Damn xenos infesting my IA!! Thanks for the advice. :D Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/225141-ia-knights-of-the-inferno/page/2/#findComment-2696103 Share on other sites
Darkchild130
take out the Sternguard and Vanguard prefixes and just say "veterans". the terms sternguard and vanguard are used primarily to distuinguish units in rules terms, they dont sound good when used in a fluffy context. Generating Random Name...
A moon would be awesome to have as a fortress monastery... Oh well. I don't think it's the moon bit that is the problem, but if you do have a moon as your fort.mon. then you need to say where they recruit from, because they can't from the moon (IMHO) I didnt mean a forge world that makes titans, i meant a world full of Manufactorums that makes things, e.g ammo, or Guard weapons. (las etc) Would a Hiveworld better suit my meaning? Typically Forgeworlds have Titan legions and Skitarri (SP?) to protect them, as they are kinda important. Thought the Parent Chapter gave you some free stuff, will change. To a certain extent, most of this tuff would be from the AdMech, you might just be able to stretch to some fancy armour from the Pregenitors. Should i change to something like: Several Vanguard and Sternguard Vets were given the honour to found and train... Blah blah.? Well, it wouldn't just be veterans, they would need chaplains and librarians and Techmarines. (IMHO) it's only really worth mentioning those that add something to the chapter, for example whoever became the first Chapter Master, because everybody (Should) know that the Pregenitor provides a training Cadre. I hope NightRawenII doesn't mind :D Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/225141-ia-knights-of-the-inferno/page/2/#findComment-2696114 Share on other sites
Ecritter
It is completely possible for a moon to have an Earth-like environment and its planet to be uninhabitable. Generating Random Name...
But to planet(oids) not need a certain mass to attract the gasses etc. to form an atmosphere, or am I getting confused with the actual forming of the planet? Ecritter
Well I can remind everyone that Titan is a moon orbiting a Gas Giant. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/225141-ia-knights-of-the-inferno/page/2/#findComment-2696452 Share on other sites
Arkangilos
And the BA get their recruits from the moons orbiting Baal, as Baal itself has no population other than the BA presence. Also, not all moons are small. There are actually moons that are currently believed to be earth sized out in the galaxy.
