Morticon Posted March 20, 2011 Share Posted March 20, 2011 Hey guys, this week saw me take my Blood Angels to the "Veteran's" tournament. It's Cape Town's (South Africa) equivalent of the "Ard Boys" and Adepticon tournament as far as gaming/missions go- 2500 point lists and hugely complicated missions and scenarios. Every mission has a primary (15points), secondary (10points), tertiary (5points) and then 3 bonus for 2points each (36 each game). For battle points I got 141 out of 180 (highest BP) and with the other points included I managed to take first place for the tournament! I took the following list: Mephiston Librarian - Rage/Fear Corbulo Furioso - Extra Armour, Talons 9 DC - Hammer, Fist, PW, 2xBolters Rhino - Light 10 RAS - 2xMeltagun, Fist 8 RAS - Meltagun, Fist Rhino 5 RAS - Meltagun, PW Razor- TLLC 5 RAS - Flamer, PW Razor- TLPG, LC DC Dread - Talons 2 Attack Bikes- 2MM 2 Attack Bikes- 2MM 1 Attack Bike- MM Raven - Twin Las, Twin MM, Armour Raven - Twin Las, Twin MM, Armour Pics and overviews to follow sometime. My bad :( Next Veterans is in 1 month though - ill let you know how I do. Competition is likely to be a LOT tougher though. Shall see how things go.
