[Red Lost Soldier]

Gearing up for the April release, I've been applying a bit of paint to my old GK. After blowing off the dust a few months ago to experiment with mixed SM/DH lists for the last time, I did a tally of what I have, you can see it here. I thought some painting was in order so the games could re-commence in a new era beginning next month.

 

Went for a darker tone to the knights after seeing this thread some time ago

 

So far I've done about half of my 31 metal PAGK models, shown here are a few of the Incinerators. Two guys on the right still waiting on the rest of their white plus highlights. Still the little details like the eyes to do, but hoping to simply get the majority painted up to more finished rate than most of my other armies...

Onto the rest, after some oven cleaner love, all the Nemises Halberds starting falling off, so I'm magnetising the shoulders to try out the new weapon types. Currently seems like I'll need at least 16 guys with swords for 2 full strike squads, however it is always good to have options. You may be able to just see the magnet in the second picture.

Also my old Inquisitor Lord. Years of unpainted play soon to be fixed. The TDA Psycannon arm proved too heavy for his body, so thankfully it wasn't glued on. It would sort of stay in place, until it was nudged too much. So many options to make for this guy, Daemonblades, Hellrifles, Plasma Syphons, etc.

Close ups of the individual members. I've been naming my Grey Knights after individual stars close to Sol. Still not sure how to paint their blades, and need more practice on White.
