Brother Kovash
Alright, I'm looking to get a daemons army rolling, and after reading the codex I would like to know if taking Fateweaver is worth it for the re-roll on saves. My friend almost always includes one in his list, but he favors Tzeentch to begin with, so it makes sense. I'm not trying to keep my list hugely fluff based, but I would include other Tzeentch based units regardless. deepstrike
build your list to and use tactics that favor him and he will do you good. dont and he will be largely wasted. really deep I know. Blood crushers are fun with him hence the fate crusher armies out there. you turtle up near him and plow through the enemy. then have fast stuff to nip at the edges Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/225434-fateweaver/#findComment-2719373 Share on other sites
calypso2ts
Fateweaver is very good, he makes any army he is in significantly more powerful. He is best paired with 3 Daemon Princes (Tzeetch is a good choice if you are going Fate anyway). BC are standard with him, but Fiends work well too since they have more DS flexibility. If it wasn't for the fluff I would include him in a list at 1850 or higher. minigun762
I think he's become one of the main staple units for competitive Daemons which means you can't go too wrong with him but like Skarbrand he really needs the army to be built around him because by himself he's too much of a point sink.
