I really like the paint scheme.

The picture is a bit small but from what I can see the face on the captain looks really good.

The Dreadnought looks a bit bare though, the large metal areas could use some weathering to break them up.

Looks like your army is off to a great start.

It's also nice to see someone taking plasma pistols on their Assault Marines.

nice purple marines..

to quote a scene from the 13th warrior "when you die, can i give that to me daughter" B)

your off to a good start, might i recommend blacklining and washing for better effect.. a good wash can make a huge difference.

also ive oticed some blotchiness on the dread, im not sure but do you use varnish? its either that or your paints could use thinning down.

i always use watered down paints, and paint an extra coat rather than use thick paints.. makes a big difference.

apologies if that sounds too critical

Thanks all for the comments. I'm only a 3rd rate painter so don't look for perfection.

@Freak I will be putting three plasma pistol in my assault squad and this should be effective. I working the next five assault marines and a pred.

Looking good so far, though I'd recommend giving them a wash of Badab Black on all the non-skin parts to add some shading and perhaps something like Devlan mud on the skin. You'll want to repaint things like the eyes and smaller details after putting on the wash though since they tend to get covered by it. Oh, and don't forget to water down your paints when they start to get thick!

Speaking of the little details, you should try to paint them a different colour to make them stand out (looking at the details on your green barrel, box and bag on the Predator) since it's amazing how that can make a huge difference on the quality of your model.

I'm loving your colour scheme though, and it reminds me a lot of how I painted when I started a little over a year ago. Keep on painting and you'll get better quicker than you think! Keep up the good work and I'm excited to see more of this army :D

really fun to see ppl with a fully painted army.. to much non-painted armies fielded around the globe... it's a shame!

Keep up the good work! :)

Thanks, I try to field a fully painted army when playing. It just feels weird not to. As always C&C are welcome

Brother Isiah's innocent inquire is astute observation; it is indeed an incredible waste of a model to paint the glass parts in such a garish way. Even if you cannot paint the pilot well or don't have time, there is no excuse not to paint him one color and place him in the cockpit.

BC.

Any reason why you opted for the painted glass of the canopy? Didn't fancy the cockpit interior?

Cheers

I

I don't paint interiors well, so opted paint canopyies instead.

You sir are rude and

an ass.

Also I like more positive feedback and your feedback left little to desire. I find positive feedback does better for fostering good work in others.

There's nothing wrong with painted glass, many Eldar players do it and it looks great.

You could add some hlighlights to the glass to make it look more realistic though.

By simply adding some white lines on the bottom of each glass pane you get the illusion of light
