So I was just wondering..what is the exact wording of Grand Strategy? Im wondering if it basically states Roll a D3, than many units get one of the following rules: (And each unit gets the same rule, ex all d3 units now scout) OR if its saying roll a d3, and that many units get one of the following rules (Each unit can have a separate rule. ex of the d3 units, one scouts, two score.)

Thanks!

Exact wording is a no-no.

That being said, I'll answer your question :

Roll a D3. That many units get ONE of the special ruless

Example : I roll a 2

I choose the entry for Scouting.

I make my Purifiers and a Dreadknight have the scout rules.

End.

That's not actually the case, and it is going to be one of the issues that need FAQing. I would recommend waiting until the actual release date to be more specific on this discussion though.

I'm not sure you are reading the same Codex, as it says very clearly at the end of the entry that all units must take the same special rule. No FAQing necessary...

Yep thats right, 1 special rule for d3 units.............then combat squad them FTW!

Vutal,

I don't know how many times I've had to close threads for asking for the exact rules. At least 3 times in the last week.

It's against GW IP and the B&C rules! The codex is now available in stores. GO. READ. IT. YOURSELVES.

Under NO circumstances can you ask for a direct copy of the rules. We are limited to rules quotations under the "fair use" doctrine. It is NOT "fair use" to be lazy and simply ask someone to give you exact rules verbiage.

The next person who does so will be ejected out the airlock. With prejudice.
