So here they are, ready for priming and painting (that's a joke for those that know me well :P )

Had to redo the ThunderHammer on my Arjac project but he is nearing completion. Perhaps I can get him done this weekend if things go well.

Cheers

What is the TDA cloak from?? Did you sculpt it, or is it from fantasy??

I love that FW upgrade torso/head. I use it for one of my RP' s as well. :)

Love the powerfist holding the staff effect, my only grip is that the staff itself seems a tad bit small in width comparatively.

Let's see some paint!!

I appreciate the comments everyone. I do what I can in envisioning each project not only with the bits I have on hand but also those I know exist. I also try not to create "generic and static" poses. I like to try to embody a certain amount of what I call "flow". If the hair or cape/cloak is swaying in a particular direction I do everything I can to keep the lines I create in tune with each other. Modeling motion whether it be generated by a wind or the character spinning or twisting one way or another. For me it is important to do the model enough credit to look right by the time I am done with it.

I may end up just making models and selling them as I no longer play. One of my projects is to make a set of Space Wolf Terminators to be used in Space Hulk. In progress is the Flamer as I have already completed the Assault Cannon.

Love the RP holding the staff with a Power Fist! Proof it can be done (the modeling I mean).

Carefully selected, placed and aligned drilling is the key. Doing so for the staff allignment in the hand is where I started. I could always cut the hand or arm at the elbow to spin it's axis if needed but in this case it was not. I then sized and cut the staff halves. Some filing to taper the ends that would fit into the fist was next and then I used polystyrene glue for a better bond. It also allowed me some flexibility during the curing process to keep and finalize the top to bottom allignment as well as the facing of the top piece and in this case the spear point on the bottom. Had to keep the line staight so it looked proper and not bent or broken within the fist. That's the attention to detail part that I'm a bit anal about.
