henrywalker
basically the main question is can i use the same power twice in 1 turn. i.e. my librarian is psyker level 3, he has "the summoning" can he potentially summon 3 different things in one turn? that would be so tempting to bait a trap for a less experienced player, leave the librarian looking all vunerable yet juicy so they attack him with their big HQs etc then summon 3 dreadknights. Pwned. so yeah, whats the deal on that? Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/225700-psyker-mastery-levels/ Share on other sites
Whitefireinferno
Might work on Tau, Orkz and DE everything else is going to be saying "Lolz Hood sucker" or whichever their army has. Also this is just a sad thing to do to a New person the best thing to do is to teach them so you have a group of better players to make yourself a better Player. Anyone with any experence will just kill it with fire or something and then Boom 170+ish worth of your army gone and now you have useless upgrades on have your Minis. But to answer your question you probably can (I don't have the codex) if psyker mastery 3 allows you to cast 3 powers per player turn and if the wording on the summoning is to do it in X phase it works but well I doubt it would work more than once. Aidoneus
The closest I can find to a concrete answer is in the Rulebook, page 50, under Psychic Shooting Attacks: ... if [the character] is allowed to fire more than one ranged weapon per turn, he can replace the firing of any of the weapons he is allowed to fire with a psychic shooting attack (but still cannot use the same power twice in a turn). Since there are no GK characters allowed to shoot multiple weapons in the shooting phase, this isn't literally directly applicable. However, one could argue that this sentence merely references the more general rule that you can never use the same psychic test multiple times in a turn. I don't happen to find this argument compelling, and so I would let you Summon multiple times in a turn, unless someone can find some other rule that I missed. Aye, the problem is that it only explicitly says you can't fire the same psychic shooting attack twice, just like you can't fire the same weapon twice. It doesn't say anything about whether casting a non-shooting ability more than once is allowed or not.
