Does Purple Power work as well as Simple Green? there seems to be a considerable price difference in my immediate area as well as Purple Power is more accessible but is it less safe or less effective?

Unless it's going to actually eat the plastic/metal I'd not worry about safety, and if it does then the effectiveness question will be answered. ;)

Do a side by side comparison, read the labels and see what they have to say for themselves.

You know, I did not find simple green that effective, plus if you leave your minis in too long you can leave finger prints on them. Someone reccomended Dawn Power Disolver and I will never use anything else to strip my minis (stripped 80 minis after a day soak in about 45 minutes). Its reusable, when you strip metal minis literally half the paint comes off when you remove it from the dawn. Rinse it almost everything else comes, five seconds with a brush and it is just like new. Plastic is almost as good, I have left them in there for up to three day, no damage to the plastic. It may be a plus or a minus but it softens green stuff so you can remove it even if it was super glued on.
Thanks YoungWolf7 I will definatly give Purple Power a try next time I need some, and I got real lucky, the NAPA Auto Parts 5 blocks from my house has it on sale for $4 a gallon so I don't have to worry about losing a whole lot of money if it does not work as well.
