zeroashram
Since I saw the new Space Wolves Models and Codex, I've been wanting to build some of my own. I was influenced by the 13th Company and the comics Bloodquest and Lone Wolves. Since I don't play the game, I was not limited by the rules meant for gameplay. I was able to finally borrow my cousin's camera and take some pictures. Any C & C are welcome. http://img858.imageshack.us/img858/4687/group1i.jpg http://img101.imageshack.us/img101/5640/group7.jpg http://img855.imageshack.us/img855/3645/group2.jpg http://img827.imageshack.us/img827/7390/group3t.jpg http://img847.imageshack.us/img847/6186/group4.jpg http://img832.imageshack.us/img832/9972/group5h.jpg http://img857.imageshack.us/img857/1522/group6.jpg Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/225819-space-wolves-wip/ Share on other sites

LUPUS FIDELIS
Exellent conversion work. Very original. I'm not a player myself (maybe once every 5 years or so). It never ceases to amaze me, just when you think you've seen it all, somebody comes up with a fresh new take like this. Kudos to you! hendrik
awesome looking mini's pup! and since none of the new pups (and mav and natanael) welcomed you i guess this ancient tradition falls to me. so sit down pup and tell me why you joined the wolves. and before you start, here's your ale tankard, guard it well since it's the only one firenze will make for you. and now, let's have an ale *fills a stein for the pup with the venerable wolf whizz and hands it over* Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/225819-space-wolves-wip/#findComment-2703673 Share on other sites

zeroashram
-Matt D: Yea it is too long. I built it off of 2 arms. I was trying to go with the spear resting off the power pack and I didn't have any more right arms that bent at that angle. I might cover some of the area with some fur to hide it. -Bikeninja: They are from Chaos Marauder Horsemen. -hendrik: Thank you for the welcome. I've actually been modeling since 1995 when a shop teacher of mine introduced me to the hobby. He would build his army while the class was busy doing their assigned projects. As far as the Wolves, I read the Ragnar series and loved the lore. I originally built Dark Angels (turncoat I know) back in 1998-1999. I also liked the idea of the 13th Company and loved the idea of a group of crazy viking marines taking the fight to chaos on their own worlds. Plus their martial skill and utter devotion to their mission made me want to built models to represent them.
