Sothalor
One problem with the psilencer is that it's a niche weapon dedicated to fighting one specific type of enemy, which the entire army already has bonuses for. What the GK needed wasn't more specialized rules and equipment to fight daemons but more generalized equipment that happened to be good against daemons as well, such as some way to counter invulnerability saves for example. I feel the psilencer could have been a straightforward Poisoned (4+) weapon and it still wouldn't be something you take often. In this respect it's far overshadowed by the psycannon in rules and game design. Just about anything the psilencer can do the psycannon does better and/or more reliably, as others have pointed out. The psilencer is both a specialized weapon in an army that desperately needs flexibility and it's sub-par at what it does. Which is a shame, because its model is great.
