Motorbike Mike
This is the Librarian I painted up for my girlfriend at christmas, only just gotten some photos of it! I didn't take them, the manager at my local shop did and she forgot to take on of the back! The back of the flag has some freehand on it that im really rather proud of. If I ever manage to take a decent photo of him i'll post it up! Comments and Criticism are most certainly weclome! Motorbike Mike
Cool model dude... But...Does that model fall over alot when you play?:P Haha, if i had a penny for every time I heard that! Surprisingly he doesn't, its really well balanced, i'd say that was because i'm a construction genius, but that'd be a lie! Its purely by accident, I did end up weighting one side of the base to aid him in keeping upright. But even on terrain its surpisingly sturdy. Tabgoi
The is a very, um ... interesting model. It certainly is unique. I really like the daring and creativity, and the crisp painting is awsome. Now I want to say something else, but I wanted to check with something first. Are those highlights, or just the light causing it to look like there are highlights? Off the topic of librarian himself, what is he doing there? It looks like he's about to slaughter a bunch of Riders of Rohan or something. Like they did not have it rough enough with Sauron trying to wipe them out.

I did alot of blending highlights but also some line highlights on the most pronounced areas. Motorbike Mike that is great.... but looks very impractical to carry around. where are the wings from? are they sanguinors? Its not so bad to be honest, I have a small Plastic tub that he lives in with some tissue paper. Motorbike Mike
Tabgoi
Cool, that's what I thought, but cameras can play tricks sometimes. Ordinarily I hate highlights, the way most people do them look cartoony to me because most people highlight absolutely EVERY edge. I love the highlights you have done on your mini because they look so natural.
1Drop
Very crisp, very crisp indeed.. I especially like the greens on the weapon, is it a crozious? Sorry I don't have a BA codex yet so I apologise for any silly questions regarding 'gear'!

Motorbike Mike Ah that's sick bro, think I may paint up my blood talons on my dc dread or something like that it looks so good.. Could you give a quick run down on colours and the method used please? Motorbike Mike
Ah that's sick bro, think I may paint up my blood talons on my dc dread or something like that it looks so good.. Could you give a quick run down on colours and the method used please? Sure man, its a Dark Angels Green base, then a watered down Scorpion Green 'streak' down the middle. Then mix in some Sunburst Yellow to the Scorpion Green and Streak it again leaving some Scorpion Green showing. Then finally mix in some more Sunburst Yellow to the mix and just highlight the ends with a 'blob'. Keep the mixes nice and thin so it dosn't cover everything, makes it look more like its glowing this way. Also, keep them on alternating ends.
