JamesI Posted March 30, 2011 Share Posted March 30, 2011 No. Honor Guards are not retinues, the HQ is not required to join them (and in the case of Mephiston or the Sanguinor can not join them at all) The only marine codex that has retinues (not counting Grey Knights as I haven't checked to see if they have them) is Black Templars since its an older codex.
