The Inquisition may indeed have members who possess Marine implants but don't have the size of Marines. That would make them more useful in an infiltration role, while still having sufficient strength and durability to have a surprising advantage in a fight along with the ability to interface with suits of power and terminator armour.

The reverse is certainly the case (members who have the size, but not the implants)- Hector Rex from Siege of Vraks III is an example.

In the Horus Heresy books, some guys lack most or all of the implants, but are effectively members of the Legion anyway- and wear Terminator armour- Kor Pharaeon in The First Heretic, is one.

I'm really sorry for being offtopic. But I can't get the picture out of my head of Grandmaster Draigo in all his might brandishing Matt Damon at a Greater Daemon of Khorne.

and now i've got that Sarah Silverman song in my head.... I'm F'N you up with Matt Damon.

Wow a daemonblade as an official piece of Grey Knights equipment? What is this Imperium coming too? haha!

Personally what blows my mind is the fact that this "Daemonblade" doesn't hit its user on the head. Ever. The worst you could get is Rage, but it comes with Furious Charge so its *slightly* not too bad. But the lack of a chance of the user's soul being ripped from his mortal flesh makes the weapon feel very..........non-Daemonic.

And yeah I know they justified it in the fluff, but its just so.......weird.
