Sisters of Battle incoming?

I think Sisters will be more about Ecclesiarchy and not Hereticus.

You'd think that, but if Arbites are in there, anything could be. We just have to hope it's a fake.

You can hope is a fake, I'll hope that it's so very real.
There are metal Arbites in the Necromunda line (Enforcers)... plastic ones would be juicy sweet :D

Of course, then we'd have lots of people running around going "I AM the Law!" and trying to get red helmets and hoverbikes.. but it could be worse.

Dude, that would be so awesome. I can only hope we get Arbite Jet-Bikers. Maybe some Police Snipers too! I'd dig an Arbite Sniper team as an elite choice.

As it is, I got a squad or Arbiters that predate the enforcers that are just itching to come out of retirement.

Seldom have I been so stoked by a rumour. ^_^

Am I to believe that for 5 points, we get a 24" Assault Sniper that wounds anything on 4+ and Daemons/Psychers on 2+ and causes rending?

And that Arbites which cost 10 points a piece are all armed with a Shock Maul which deals double wounds and a S3 Assault 3 Riot Gun?

I think that's the biggest joke of all!

If this is a joke then it's very, very cruel.

I'm debating on whether to use the henchmen in the Greyknights codex to make an Arbite list. If I truly know they are coming out with the sisters then I'd wait.

Darn you cruel world for April the 1st.

I'm very sure it's a fake, just by looking at the images.

1. Look at the text on the left hand side. It's been manipulated to look like a page bending, but no text on a bent page looks like that. While every other bit of text on the 'page' is magically perfectly straight.

2. The 'hand scrawled notes' doesn't even look like handwriting, more like someone attempted to replicate handwriting using the Pencil tool in MS Paint.

3. The grey borders around the statlines don't line up, ie. they are different widths.

Bla bla, April Fools, etc etc

I dunno, I think it looks like handwriting. I also don't think that the boxes not lining up means anything, as if this were a heavy WIP codex it would have that kind of minor error. There's no proof that it's fake, imo... but neither is there proof that it's real.

Anyone consider that pages do that when they are placed in a scanner or copy machine wrong? Not like a *book* but I know at my work we have industrial 4 in ones and sometimes the scans come out like this because the page gets moved during scanning or the top is opened while the scan light is going over the page.

I am not making judgement one way or the other.. It could be one way or the other but I dont think there is enough information to call it on way or another. GW themselves have said the codex is in development and they were having isues with h sculpts.

The page with the "Redemptionist Militia" looks very different from the other three pages posted. It could be a fake, and they can all be fake really, or it could be that the person who worked on that last page had a different editing program and the page was converted strange, like when you take a Word document and open it with Pages. I do agree that the bending on the "Redemptionist Militia" page looks a little suspect, and I'm sure I could manage that level of fake in Photoshop. The other three pages look much more authentic, though, with the one that has the Sisters of Battle squad and the Arbites patrol statlines on it looking the most real.

If it's an April Fool's joke, it's a heck of a good one, because even knowing there is a very good chance it's fake, and even with it being released on a day renowned for pranks, I still really want to believe. I mean, the prank could be that it's perfectly authentic but released in such a way we'd never believe it, too. Either way it's cruel. So very cruel.

But really, I want plastic models more than I want a new codex, so there is that.
