Greggoman
So after having left the hobby two years ago because of a move to university, I've decided to rejoin the hobby and what better way than to start a new army. I've chosen space wolves because they are very different both in looks and how to play than my previous army (Tau). SO here is my a link to my album, follow my progress as I attempt to get 1500 pts ready for June to (me and my friends first battle of 5th edition) Greggoman's Space Wolves Adventure Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/226289-my-first-space-wolves-figure-painted/ Share on other sites

Beef
Welcome brother, nice mini, might i suggest black lining the model, I always suggest that as it just picks out the details better Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/226289-my-first-space-wolves-figure-painted/#findComment-2710076 Share on other sites
Greggoman
Cheers for the kind words fellas :) I was up till 03:30am painting him but this morning I've seen a few things I need to touch up on, so hopefully I'll get a chance to do that later @Beef - I've never black lined before so I would be a bit scared to try, also I'd need to get hold of one of those art pens, so maybe one day, but at the moment I can't even try :(. But cheers for the tip none the less Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/226289-my-first-space-wolves-figure-painted/#findComment-2710125 Share on other sites
Beef
No dont use the artpens, thats not what i meant, what i meant was thinned down ink to put in the recesses, Yes its very daunting at first especially if you dont have a steady hand. The other option is to start with a black undercoat and leave the black showing through the recesses. Just makes painting the initial grey layer a bit long and tedious Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/226289-my-first-space-wolves-figure-painted/#findComment-2710848 Share on other sites
