Plastic librarian terminator

Grabbed a box of plastic termies yesterday and had a stab at a plastic termie librarian. Although GW did a good job of painting the regular termie lib as a GK, the lack of GK specific armour put me off doing the same. So with the aid of some magnets, guitar wire and green stuff I came up with this fellow. He's supposed to be leaning back as if casting the summoning. Will go back over the GS as it's not very smooth and he needs basing but other than that I'm happy with him. Thought this might be useful for inspiration/comparison for anyone thinking the same now release day is here.

....Consider that idea stolen!

Seriously tho I was considering the same myself and that is a truly exelent execution of the idea. He's so clearly a librarian that no one would ever have to ask, cant ask for much more than that so the fact its in a sweet pose is just icing on the cake.

If there was rep on this site you'd have +1 by now...

Cheers pal. Also, just realised that I took 2 pics of the stave by accident. He does have a sword magnetised also. Think I'll go with the stave first time out tho, seeing as that many points (ML3 + powers) on a 2 wound character kinds of justifies the extra spend just to keep him alive in CC, which to be honest is where mine will be with his paladin and apothecary friends.
Thanks for the comments folks.

Justcar: These are the ones I use - they are perfect for magnetising the plastics at the wrist:

It was removed from the auction.

I think it was 25mmX2mm?? is this correct?

Thanks!!

Oh, sorry. They were these ones:

25 Circular 1.5 mm Diameter x 2 mm Thickness Neodymium (NdFeB) Magnets

A 2mm drill bit in a pin vice makes it easy enough to do. Just be careful to get the depth precise before glueing the magnet in or else you'll have trouble if it sticks out or goes in too deep. On the other hand, sometimes it's good to have it so that the magnets go in deeper on one surface and stick out more on the other, so that you can slot them in for extra stability. Just decide which to do first. And don't forget to get the poles alligned correctly of course.
