Kebabyuchenko
I've got these lovely Space Hulk Termies just sitting there unnercoated, and on closer inspection, there aren't too many Blood Angels (spits) markings on them. Couple this with my unwillingness to butcher them, would they look alright just painted as Deathwing? Has anyone else tried this? Pavement Artist
Well they are great models. I see no reason why they wouldnt look great in a bone colour scheme. Go for it. Master Avoghai
I've used the SH termis to make my DW command squad + several other options. It's quite easy to do particulary with the DA sprues and details Linky (you can also find other pics in the following posts) Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/226392-space-hulk-termiators/#findComment-2711219 Share on other sites
The Shadow Guard
I think they would be fine as long as you didn't highlight the BA bits too much. The main issue is the presence of blood dorps vitually everywhere, all of which are removable easily with a pait of clippers. The few places where you can't remove them, it's easy enough to cover up using DA sprues. Then of course a few well placed GS purity seals would get you the final cover. Linky However, if you want to leave them as they are paint/wash the DA icons the same colour as your terminator armour, and it's quite difficult to see. Easier to see when photographed and siaplayed at magnification than by naked eye on the table top! SG Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/226392-space-hulk-termiators/#findComment-2711309 Share on other sites
Darkangeldentist
Very nice work on the space hulk terminators Shadow guard. I have also done a little work on the space hulk models and in reference to the blood drops, I have found they are very easy to convert into gemstones. Just a little work with a file to round off the points. Phreshwing
I can tell you now they turn out a treat mate! Check out my army below to see for yourself! http://www.bolterandchainsword.com/index.p...howtopic=193413 As long as you dont mind removing BA icons and placeing DA parts on your set! Oh and removing the plastic molded single piece base and attaching to a 40mm base is fun :D haha http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v509/waargh/Minitures/P1150743.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v509/waargh/Minitures/P1150747.jpg Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/226392-space-hulk-termiators/#findComment-2711911 Share on other sites
Kebabyuchenko
Cheers guys, you've really got me buzzing now. If I ever get the rest of my army painted I'll be straight onto this, it looks like I 'll have to do SOME converting, but that isn't a problem! Avoghai, Shadowguard and Phreshwing have shown me how damn simple this could be!
