Technoscream
...I thought that Land Speeder Storms were a 0-1 unit (max one in army) ....but now I cant find that anywhere in the codex. Can anyone correct me? thanks
narf
You can buy a landspeeder storm for xxpoints. Does it let you buy another to make it into a squadron? - No How many can you buy from fast attack? the same amount as free FA slots you have in your army, unless you've used some. Short answer is that it is a single vehicle, can i buy vindicator squadrons? predators? dreadnoughts? no, i can buy standard landspeeder squadrons as they state 1-3. Or i can buy Landpseeder storms as single models per slot, if i have 3 slots i could buy 3, if i had 6 i could buy 6.....
Seahawk
He wasn't asking whether it was a squadron at all. The true short answer is no, they are not 0-1. Take as many as can fit in the FOC if you want.
greatcrusade08
seahawk is correct, its a shame they arent dedicated transports though, as they would be used alot more IMO and youd see scouts in alot more armies. its weird how one decision/oversight could affect the game as a whole. Very true. I've said it before, as it is now the LSS is sub-par. If it could carry 10 scouts, it'd be good. If it was a dedicated transport, it would be very good. If it could do both, no one would ever use tacs.
