Ammonius
Hello from the middle of the US! I first discovered Games Workshop about 1988 (Adeptus Titanicus was being pushed by my FLGS). Later, I bought the original Slaves to Darkness realm of chaos book and spent hours reading the fluff and rolling on the crazy D1000 table. By the time The Lost and the Damned came out I was really in love with this death-metal alternate reality where everything was awesome. This led to me spending hours tucked into my workroom painting and converting the miniatures, but not playing the game, for several years. Fast forward to the present day where I recently found that there 1) was a game store near me, and 2) that they had a WH40K league. Of course, I had sold or given away all my miniatures, most of my books (including my 1st edition chaos books), my paints had long dried up, etc. So I'm starting from scratch, putting together a Chaos Space Marine army based on The Purge, using both regular- and plague marines with plenty of motor pool to get them across the board. I found this site by Googling for Nurgle space marine tactics, finding the very well done "Death Guard Tactica" thread. After reading it, and other posts on the site, I thought I should register and join the community. Pavement Artist
Was that tactica by the chap who used to run deathguard.org? That takes me back. I started the hobby with nurgle. Still have fond memories. Welcome to the board. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/226490-another-new-new-guy/#findComment-2712521 Share on other sites
