Almost finished NDK

Well i've had my NDK for two days and he's almost, day 1 was mostly making him (converting him) and under coats and now putting on some detail, I've still got to paint the pilot and the weapon but i'm getting bored of grey so I thought i'd post an almost finished shot for your approval. Plus if anything needs changing / I've missed anything you can point it out :D

P.s I hated those arm crane things and as such they have been removed, and yes his right leg is not quite where it should be. It was impossible to pose it how it should be posed given the height of the NDK's leg. As such I put it next to it and think it looks ok. Hope you approve

Unfortunately the picture really flattens out the lava colours, it is a bit more transitioned to the naked eye!`

Lovin' the base mate ;) The force sword is cool as well because it is so different to most NFWs. The grey looks a little flat at the moment, is there going to be any highlighting going on?

Keep up the good work.

The picture doesn't show it but the armour is stippled with various shades of lighter grey given it an ages stone sort of appearance, unfortunately it doesn't really convey in the pictures, but it does still require a bit more :D

~Gil ;)

Nice DK, like the non-metallic grey and the funky sword. Posing and base are great too. I've not undercoated mine yet due to excessive magnetisation, and then I went on bitzandkits.co.uk and saw I could buy an extra gun mount for only £2 - :(

Does anyone know what this part (pic cropped from BnK) is for as I didn't see it on the instructions.
