RedMoon
i just posted the same picture in the questions part i was thinking of doing the same thing lol i think the bone and gold would look AMAZING on the new models. i just need to get ahold of an airbrush so i can get a good even coat of khaki for the base lol. cant wait to see what you come up with Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/226673-grey-knights-alternate-painting/#findComment-2715208 Share on other sites
henrywalker
i just base coated a regular SM termie with a 3:1 mix of tausept ochre and skull white. I'm thinking of over brushing bleached bone then washing with gryphone sepia. then highlighting with bleached bone and lightening it with more and more white. i'm very tempted to VERY lightly drybrush a light gold on top to give it a mild shine that or mixing mithril silver into bleached bone what were you thinking? RedMoon
i asked my buddy on our club forums who's one a few golden daemons and he told me to get an even coat of komando khaki. then a highlight of khaki and bone. then a very watered down sepia wash then a black wash in the recess. i just need to get me an air brush for a good khaki base coat. Brother Turok
Bone theme could be interesting... however, forgeworld's Inquisitor Hector Rex is actually painted NMM shades of grey with bronze/gold trim. looks almost like a tan-ish color but it's not.
