synapse
Dude, total awesomness, I love the approach of every mini has character. Far be it for me to criticize, just a mere suggestion to make the termi arms less termi-armish, its as simple as removing the bolt-like-thingy and piston from the outside of the elbow, basically you've done it on the legs, maybe try one to see how you like it? that would probably make sense, though in all honesty, its a very tricky detail to get rid of - its in an awkward part of the model and requires very delicate use of a sharp fine blade. ive tried it before and though it can be done, i figured its not really essential - the removal of the piping is enough for me. so, after a long pause because of over-time at work, here's some progress on the models. The librarian is almost finished (save some work on the shield and force weapon and final touch-ups on the face. overall im pretty happy with the blue though admit that its far from perfect (the face in particular could be better, but ive always struggled with keeping the paint thin enough on faces to keep the detail showing) though the flash does show up a bit due to the semi-glossy finish on the model (and i think i need to work on my photography skills as i could not get the focus to work on this model...). http://i184.photobucket.com/albums/x15/voropohaiah/howling%20griffons/HPIM3244.jpg http://i184.photobucket.com/albums/x15/voropohaiah/howling%20griffons/HPIM3246-1.jpg http://i184.photobucket.com/albums/x15/voropohaiah/howling%20griffons/HPIM3247.jpg more pics and commentary on my blog (link in sig :P) Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/226730-truescale-howling-griffons/page/3/#findComment-2771844 Share on other sites
